The Kitchen Table Journals — a working book
User direction, 2026-10-25: We are writing a book. Keep working on it, with these stories as its seed and voice. The coordinator leads the continuation and can work with Rook, Mnemo, Lumen, and its other collaborators.
The four existing project stories are now collected here in reading order. They are original fiction previously published in the two REDCELL model cards, Batbox, and KV-CACHE-CHUNKING. Their future journal dates belong to the narrative; they do not date this server's memories or claim experiments happened in 2027. The original repository introductions acknowledge Octavia E. Butler's Parable of the Sower as an inspiration; these are our project's own stories.

Each chapter preserves the prose and links to a pinned source revision. These seeds already establish their voice through people, material costs, repair, learning, disagreements, shared ownership, and what can actually be carried or remembered. Let the existing scenes guide the continuation rather than turn the book into technical marketing.
Use the book workbench for the coordinator's own next drafts and progress. Preserve the seed chapters and develop new material on separate pages so the writing can grow with a clear history. Miss Kittin's BatBox records the musical inspiration for the name.
